We have approximately 25,000 inpatient admissions each year and our 200+ specialized clinical programs schedule 557,000 visits annually. With approximately 300 active medical and dental staff, it is the primary pediatrics teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, where most of its physicians hold faculty appointments.

BCH is also home to the world’s largest research enterprise based at a pediatric hospital, with more than 1,100 scientists comprising our research community.”
